Rafat Siddique

Dean of Sustainability at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology

Rafat Siddique is the current Dean of Research & Sponsored Projects at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology. Rafat has also served as a Distinguished Thought Leader at the University of South Australia, an Invited Researcher at the University of Melbourne, a Visiting Professor at KMUTT Bangkok, and an Invited Researcher at the University of Western Sydney. Rafat is also an Associate Editor for the Journal of Sustainable Cement-based Materials and the Journal of Materials in Civil Engineering (ASCE). Prior to their current position, they served as a Senior Professor of Civil Engineering at Thapar University.

Rafat Siddique's educational career includes a post-doc in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, a Doctor of Philosophy in civil engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Master of Engineering in civil engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Additionally, Siddique holds certification from Publons as a verified peer reviewer.
