Varuna Maharaj

Varuna Maharaj is an accomplished Human Resources professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the field. At Tharisa, Varuna served as a Senior Human Resources Manager and previously held the position of Human Resources Development Manager. Varuna also worked at Dikwena Chrome as a Human Resources Superintendent and at Hernic Ferrochrome (Pty) Ltd as a Learning and Development Superintendent. Earlier in the career, Varuna served as HRD Sup at Lonmin Plc. Academically, Varuna holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration and another BTech in Human Resource Development, both earned between 2014 and 2017.
