Ash Holmes

Ash Holmes is a seasoned engineering professional with significant experience in research and development within the automotive and engineering sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Research Engineer at Thatcham Research since March 2020, Ash leads key projects focused on vehicle risk assessment and supports the automotive industry with insights on evolving challenges. Prior roles include Fixed Equipment Engineer at Phillips 66, where responsibilities included maintenance and project work, and Research and Development Engineer at Siemens Energy, tackling complex gas turbine engineering problems. Ash holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Lincoln, alongside a Foundation Degree from the University of Derby.
