Lisa S. has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Lisa started their career as an intern at the US Coast Guard Academy's Plasma Lab in 2016. In 2017, they worked as a research assistant at the WPI STEM project center, where they reviewed and helped launch a new Pre-K curriculum for STEM education. Lisa also worked as a sailing instructor at the Weekapaug Yacht Club during the summers of 2017 and 2018.

In 2018, Lisa took on the role of Robotics Lab Assistant at the WPI Robotics Lab. Lisa'sresponsibilities included distributing parts, offering technical advice to students, and assisting with a redesign of the inventory and distribution systems. In 2019, they interned at FIRST, where they tested software and designed a robot for teams to copy.

During their time at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), Lisa also served as a research mentor, mentoring high school students and completing a data science project using AI. Lisa participated in leadership training targeted at women and minorities in STEM.

From 2020 to 2022, Lisa worked at ThayerMahan Inc. as an engineering and software intern, then as a software engineer. In 2022, they joined AmeriCorps NCCC as a Team Leader. In this role, they led a team of young adults in various service projects, including trail work, disaster response, construction, and tax return assistance.

In 2023, Lisa returned to ThayerMahan Inc. as a software engineer. Lisa has a strong background in software engineering, STEM education, and project management.

Lisa S. attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 2017 to 2021, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Robotics Engineering.
