Timothy Pennington

Timothy Pennington is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Program Director for Mobile Systems at ThayerMahan, Inc., leading the deployment and delivery of the Outpost system for maritime surveillance. Previously, Timothy held various positions at Idaho National Laboratory, including Research Group Lead, Principal Investigator, and Senior Research Engineer, focusing on vehicle grid integration and electric vehicle charging technologies. Additionally, Timothy has served as Lead System Engineer at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport, Mechanical Engineer III at Charles River Analytics, Naval Architect at The Hinckley Company, and Engineer and Naval Architect at Derecktor Shipyards. Timothy holds a Bachelor of Science in Ocean Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Ship Science from the University of Southampton.
