Eric Fripp has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Eric is currently working as a Barrister and Joint Head at The 36 Group, a position they started in March 2021. Before this, they served as a Senior Visiting Fellow at the School of Advanced Study, University of London starting from March 2018. Prior to that, they worked for Hart Publishing as an Author and Editor, focusing on the International Law of Refugee Status and United Kingdom's expulsion and exclusion policies. Eric's legal career began in 1999 when they joined Mitre House Chambers as a Barrister, a role they held until 2012 when they moved to Lamb Building where they continued to practice until February 2021. Eric also had a brief stint as a Pupil Barrister and Squatter at 1 Kings Bench Walk. Before their legal career, Eric served as an officer in the Royal Navy from 1991 to 1992, following their Officer under Training role at Britannia Royal Naval College, Dartmouth from 1990 to 1991.
