Carl Bishop

Carl Bishop is an experienced professional with a strong background in operational excellence and customer value management. Currently serving as the Head of Operational Excellence at The AA since July 2022, Carl previously worked at Direct Line Group for nearly a decade in various roles, including Customer and Commercial Value Practitioner and Product Owner, where responsibility included managing cross-functional teams focused on enhancing business value and customer satisfaction. Additional experience encompasses positions as National Performance Delivery Manager and Central Region Account Manager, as well as extensive roles at the Royal Bank of Scotland (NatWest) where Carl managed performance across multiple branches. Early career experience includes management roles at Marks and Spencer. Carl holds education credentials from Shrewsbury College of Arts and Technology.
