James Cox

James Cox is an experienced legal professional currently serving as General Counsel and Company Secretary at The AA since October 2018, with additional roles including Head of Legal for Roadside and Interim Group General Counsel and Deputy Company Secretary. Prior to this position, James held the role of Solicitor at Hitachi Europe from December 2016 to October 2018 and served as Senior Legal Counsel and Legal Counsel at TalkTalk between July 2009 and December 2016. Earlier experience includes working as Legal Counsel at Tiscali and as a Solicitor and Trainee Solicitor at Burges Salmon LLP. Academically, James completed the Legal Practice Course at the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice and holds a degree in Law from the University of Exeter.
