David McDonald

David McDonald is a seasoned audio creative and sound designer with extensive experience at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) since 2015. Currently serving as a Senior Audio Creative and Sound Designer, David leads aural branding and sound design for all ABC Radio Networks and programs, including notable shows like RN Breakfast and triple j. Previous roles at ABC include Senior Creative Sound Designer and Radio Imaging Producer, where David managed imaging for all radio stations, and producer, co-creator, and sound engineer for the podcast 'How Do You Sleep at Night.' David also contributed as a volunteer producer and publicity manager for the Father Bob Maguire Foundation from 2013 to 2016. Earlier experience includes various roles at triple j and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in promotional production. David holds a Graduate Certificate in Creative Advertising from Queensland University of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Newcastle.
