Farid M. Ibrahim

Farid M. Ibrahim is an accomplished journalist and educator with extensive experience in media and communications. Currently serving as a Senior Editor for the Indonesian Service at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation since July 2013, Farid M. Ibrahim specializes in writing and editing news for the ABC International market from Melbourne. Previously, Farid M. Ibrahim was a Lecturer and Researcher at Paramadina University in Jakarta from 2008 to 2010. Additional experience includes working as an East Asia Correspondent for NyTid Magazin in Tokyo from 2006 to 2008 and as a Senior Editor at PT. Media Fajar Koran from 1990 to 2001, where the career began as a reporter. Farid M. Ibrahim holds a Master of Arts in Global Journalism from Örebro University, a Graduate Certificate in Communication and Media Studies from Monash University, and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Universitas Hasanuddin.
