Gordon Lynch

Gordon Lynch is a distinguished academic and researcher with extensive experience in physiology and muscle research. Since April 1997, Gordon has held multiple roles at the University of Melbourne, including Director of the Centre for Muscle Research, Professor of Physiology, and Head of the Department of Anatomy and Physiology. Additionally, Gordon serves as the Scientific Director of the Australian and New Zealand Society for Sarcopenia and Frailty Research since January 2018 and has been a weekly presenter for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, focusing on health and fitness topics. Previous leadership positions include President of the Australian Physiological Society from December 2017 to December 2020 and Research Manager at Medibank Health Solutions.
