Laura McCalman currently serves as a Software (Data) Engineer in Data Platforms at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) since October 2025. Prior to this role, Laura worked at the University of Melbourne from January 2018 to March 2025 as an EDP Development Lead. Laura's experience also includes positions at AGL as a Data Product Owner for Measure and Learn and as a Data Products Specialist from March 2016 to January 2018, and at The Good Guys as a Business Intelligence Specialist from July 2008 to March 2016. Laura holds a degree in Information Technology from the University of Newcastle, obtained between 2005 and 2007.
