Tom Perry

Communications Manager, ABC International Development at The ABC

Tom Perry is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in international relations and public affairs. Currently serving as the Communications Team Leader for the Pacific region at The World Bank since May 2015, Tom leads a team of five in managing communications, external affairs, media, and strategic partnerships across 13 countries. Prior to this role, Tom was a Senior Media Adviser at CARE Australia and coordinated media efforts for CARE International's response to the crisis in South Sudan. Tom also served as Deputy Public Affairs Manager for the Regional Assistance Mission to Solomon Islands, where responsibilities included documenting the mission’s efforts to restore order and implement sustainable change. Earlier experience includes a role as Communications Manager at Melbourne Airport. Tom holds a Master's Degree in International Relations from UNSW and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from RMIT University.
