We understand the special needs of Alzheimer's care. At the Abington of Glenview we look at residents who are cognitively impaired as individuals with individual needs and wants. Our Dementia Unit is a comfortable and supportive environment that we feel is just the right size to meet resident's individual needs. The small, structured activity programs provide an optimal atmosphere for residents to share and enjoy leisure activities without feeling overwhelmed by outside disruptions.
