From November 2014 to August 2020, Jonathan held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at Indiana University Health, where responsibilities included enhancing community health and transforming healthcare delivery. Prior roles include Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at the University of Maryland Medical Center and Chief Medical Officer at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, among others. Jonathan has extensive experience in medical education, safety, quality, and performance innovation, with prior academic positions such as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at Jefferson Medical College. Jonathan holds an MD from The University of Connecticut School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Rochester, along with additional training in medical decision making.
