Deon Moses

Deon Moses is a dedicated college and career counselor at The Academy Charter School, where responsibilities include developing a comprehensive college counseling program for high school students, organizing college visits, and guiding families through the admissions and financial aid processes. Prior to this role, Deon served as a substitute teacher with the NYC Department of Education, preparing students for TABE testing, and gained experience as a school counselor intern at various institutions, where support was provided in college application processes and academic counseling. Deon holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Science in Education Psychology from Brooklyn College and an Advanced Certification in School Counseling from The College of Saint Rose.
