Mike Santopietro

Mike Santopietro is an experienced educator and coach currently serving as a Physical Education Teacher, Health Education Teacher, and Boy’s Varsity Soccer Head Coach at The Academy Charter School since August 2021. With a background in human biomechanics, Mike has worked as a Human Biomechanic Specialist at Functional Patterns since September 2016. Previous roles include Health Education Teacher for the Diocese Of Rockville Center and Substitute Teacher for Middle Country Central School District. Mike has also held positions in the food service industry and management. Mike holds a Master of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education, both from Hofstra University.
