Chris Herron

Chris Herron is an experienced educator and basketball coach with a strong background in health and physical education. Currently serving as the Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach at LC Bird High School since November 2016, Chris has also held various coaching roles, including Head JV Boys Basketball Coach and Assistant Varsity Coach for Chesterfield County Public Schools since October 2012. Chris's experience includes directing the High School 17U Elite team for River City Reign from February 2014 to August 2017, as well as teaching health and physical education at Richmond City Public Schools from August 2011 to June 2014. Additional roles include Center Supervisor for the YMCA of Greater Richmond and Assistant Sports Information Director at both Randolph-Macon College and Roanoke College. Chris holds a Bachelor's degree in Health and Human Performance & Education from Roanoke College, completed in 2010, and graduated from Kempsville High School in 2006.
