Ashley McCall is an experienced educator and voice-over artist based in Chicago, with a career spanning over a decade in various teaching roles, primarily focusing on bilingual education. Currently serving as an 8th grade Bilingual ELA Teacher at Chicago Public Schools, Ashley develops comprehensive lesson plans aligned with Common Core Standards and facilitates student progress for diverse learners. In addition to teaching, Ashley acts as a Clinical Instructor at The University of Chicago Urban Teacher Education Program, mentoring aspiring teachers. As a Learning Designer at The Academy Group, Inc., Ashley creates courses that promote social justice and identity awareness. Previous experiences include leading extracurricular activities, collaborating on education policy initiatives with Teach Plus, and facilitating music programs to enrich student engagement. Ashley holds a Master of Arts in Elementary Education from Dominican University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish from Amherst College.
