Asha Hannah

Asha Hannah is a Social Studies Teacher at The Academy of Alameda since August 2022. Prior to that, Asha was an Ethnic Studies Teacher at Leadership Public Schools from August 2019 to the present. With previous experience as an Education Specialist at Leadership Public Schools and a Special Education Teacher at Florence Unified School District No. 1. Asha holds a Bachelor of Arts in African-American/Black Studies and Anthropology from Oberlin College, a Master of Education in Instructional Accommodation from Francis Marion University, and a Teaching Credential in Education from Mills College.
