Rachel Quinn

Rachel Quinn currently serves as a Trustee for Research at Crohn's & Colitis UK since November 2023. With extensive experience in medical science policy, Rachel has been the Director of Medical Science Policy at The Academy of Medical Sciences from June 2009, overseeing a team dedicated to improving lives and enhancing research through collaboration with various stakeholders. Rachel's prior role included serving as the Interim Executive Director at the Medical Research Council in early 2018, as well as holding leadership positions at The Royal Society from 2005 to 2009. Rachel holds a PhD in Biology from Imperial College London and a degree in Applied Biology from the University of Wales, Cardiff.
