Jana Voriskova is a Research Scientist at the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic since February 2020, following a tenure as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Copenhagen from July 2019 to January 2020 and at Berkeley Lab from March 2016 to January 2019. Prior to these roles, Jana Voriskova also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland and at the Center for Permafrost (CENPERM) at the University of Copenhagen between November 2013 and November 2015. Jana Voriskova's academic journey began with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular and Cell Biology, Genetics and Virology from Charles University, completed in 2013, after earning a Master of Science (MS) in Molecular Biology and Genetics of Eukaryotes in 2009 and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry of Organisms in 2007, all from Charles University.
