Mandy Balak

Mandy Balak has had a diverse range of work experiences throughout their career. Mandy started their own consulting company, Mandy Balak Consulting, in 2019, where they serve as an Executive Coach and Facilitator. In 2020, they expanded their coaching and consulting services as a Business and Life Coach, Facilitator, Consultant, and Mentor under their own name. Prior to these ventures, Mandy founded and served as the CEO of The Ace Class, a platform that provides support and resources for women. Mandy also hosted a podcast called Ace Talks, where they discussed various aspects of life. Mandy is also the Founder and CEO of It's Date Night, a company that organizes social events for couples. Mandy has experience as an Executive Director at Best of Calgary and as a Spin Instructor at YYC Cycle Spin Studio. Mandy has also worked as a Boxing Instructor at UNDRCARD Boxing Studio. Previously, they founded Branded Magazine and worked in Real Estate Development Sales at Embassy Bosa. Earlier in their career, Mandy served as an Executive Assistant at Macquarie Capital Markets Canada Ltd., supporting the Head of Oil and Gas, Corporate Finance. In this role, they handled accounts payable and receivable duties, organized events, and managed calendars and scheduling for oil and gas executives.

Mandy Balak completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies at the University of Calgary from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they pursued a Real Estate Licensing course and a Mortgage Licensing course at The University of British Columbia from 2006 to 2007.

In terms of additional certifications, Mandy Balak obtained the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) and ICF certifications from Canada Coach Academy in December 2021. Mandy also holds certifications from the Alberta Fitness Leadership Association as an Indoor Cycling Instructor and a Group Fitness Instructor. Furthermore, they obtained a Crossfit Level 1 certification as a Crossfit coach, although the specific dates for these certifications are not provided.
