Vice President, Service Strategy & Operations at Achievement Network (ANet)

Elizabeth Horan Thompson has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations. Elizabeth started their career in 2010 as a Corps Member Adviser at Teach For America NYC Summer Institute, where they provided guidance and support to incoming teachers. Elizabeth then joined the New York City Department of Education/Teach For America as a 7th and 8th grade social studies teacher from 2008 to 2011. In 2011, they worked as a contractor in the Network Support Team at Teach For All and later as an Achievement Support Initiatives Coach at the NYC Department of Education. From 2012 to 2014, they served as the Director of Common Core Resources at Achievement Network (ANet) and then moved on to become the Managing Director of Coaching Strategy until 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Service Strategy & Operations at ANet.

Elizabeth Horan Thompson completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Italian from the University of Notre Dame. Elizabeth pursued their higher education further by obtaining a Master of Arts in Education from Lehman College.
