Sophia Chan

Sophia Chan is a Graphic Designer currently employed at the Entertainment Community Fund since December 2021. Previously, Sophia held design positions at PS New York and served as an Enrollment Specialist at IDNYC, where responsibilities included enrolling New Yorkers in the municipal ID program and conducting interviews in multiple languages. Additional experience includes a Junior Graphic Designer role at Covid Act Now, where Sophia created content to communicate Covid-related information, and an internship at the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, focusing on graphic design for public health materials. Early professional experience includes serving as an Assistant Language Teacher in Sapporo, Japan, where lesson planning and student assessment were key responsibilities. Sophia holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Graphic Design from Parsons School of Design and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from St. John's University.
