Emily Cinquemani

Emily Cinquemani is a Poetry Instructor in the Creative Writing Department at the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities since August 2021 and serves as Poetry Editor for The Adroit Journal from January 2020. Previously, Emily was a Lecturer at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro from August 2018 to July 2021, teaching various English and literature courses. Past roles include Poetry Editor at The Greensboro Review and Writing Center Consultant at UNCG, focusing on enhancing writers' skills. Additionally, Emily worked as Assistance Coordinator at Midtown Assistance Center, organizing community aid programs. Academic qualifications include an MFA in Poetry from UNCG and a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature and Creative Writing from Elon University, with study abroad experience at Trinity College Dublin.
