Mercuri Lam -͙˚ ༘

Mercuri Lam is the Connecticut Youth Poet Laureate at URBAN WORD since May 2023. Currently studying at Yale University from 2024 to 2028, Mercuri also serves as an Events Aide and Student Bartender at Benjamin Franklin College, a Poetry Reader for The Yale Review, and an Artist in Residence with the East Coast Asian American Student Union. Recently, Mercuri facilitated a workshop at the Yale 2024 Conference and holds the role of Student Ambassador at Adobe. Additionally, Mercuri works as an Outreach Assistant and Residency Grantwriter for the Xīn Shēng Project, and has interned at Sundress Publications and COUNTERCLOCK Journal, while participating in the Youth Advisory Council for The Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History. Mercuri's educational background includes a High School Diploma in Global and Environmental Studies from The Loomis Chaffee School, completed in 2024.
