David Forder has an extensive work history in the travel industry. David began their career in 2004 as a Retail Store Manager for Flight Centre, where they gained experience in all aspects of the business. From there, they moved into various marketing roles within Flight Centre, such as Offline Marketing Manager, Product and Advertising Manager, and Brand Marketing Manager. In these positions, they were responsible for creating marketing strategies, managing advertising campaigns, and developing partnerships with tourist boards and airlines. David also played a key role in growing the membership base of The Travel Club tenfold and increasing sales staff enquiry by 200%. In 2015, David worked as a Short term contractor for Travel PR, where they designed a blogger outreach program, researched a new CRM platform, and wrote press releases for travel clients. Following that, they joined Wanderlust Travel Media as a Senior Marketing Manager, overseeing all marketing efforts across various teams. Currently, David is the Head of Marketing at The Advantage Travel Partnership, where they lead marketing initiatives for the UK's largest independent travel agent group.
David Forder obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Direct and Digital Marketing from The Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing in 2015-2016. Prior to that, they studied Business and Finance with Marketing and earned an HND from Farnborough College of Technology during 1992-1994.
