Marcia Hasbani

Marcia Hasbani has over 30 years of experience in human resources and office management. Marcia currently serves as the Director of Human Resources at Advocate Program, Inc. where they are responsible for overseeing all HR functions. Prior to this role, they worked as an HR Manager at Advocate Program, Inc. from 2005 until 2018, where they handled all aspects of HR and purchasing. Before that, they were an HR Coordinator at Village South from 2003 to 2005, where they focused on recruiting and training programs. From 1999 to 2001, they served as an Office/HR Manager at MetroCom Cable, managing office operations and HR functions. Marcia also worked as an HR Manager at British American Tobacco from 1996 to 1998, where they handled recruitment, training, and employee performance. Marcia Hasbani began their career in 1986 as a Customer Service Representative at Lincoln National Life, eventually transitioning to a role as a Receptionist before moving into HR. Additionally, their experience includes working as an Office Manager and Executive Assistant at AT&T, where they were involved in office administration, project management, and building relationships with local entities.

Marcia Hasbani has a diverse education history. Marcia attended Barry University where they pursued a degree in Human Resources Management. Additionally, they obtained a Human Resources Certification from the same institution with a focus on Human Resources Management and Services. Marcia furthered their education at UNP Nicaragua, where they completed a Post Grad in Human Resources, specializing in Human Resources Development.

In terms of their earlier education, Marcia attended the National University of Nicaragua where they studied to become a Computer Operator. Marcia also had a brief period of study at California State University - East Bay, focusing on Hotel/Motel Administration/Management. Finally, they attended the San Francisco College of Travel, where they earned a degree in Tourism and Travel Services Management.
