Amanda Dean

Amanda Dean is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in systems engineering and project management. Currently serving as Project Leader and Project Engineer at The Aerospace Corporation since December 2022, Amanda provides support to the NOAA Office of Satellite Ground Services. Previous roles include serving as Metadata and Archiving Specialist at CASE Consultants International, where expertise in NOAA's National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) was applied. Amanda also held positions at Industrial Manufacturing Leaders focusing on process improvement and efficiency, as well as technical supervision and lab management at Genova Diagnostics and Florida International University. Amanda holds a Master of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
