Amit Itzhaki

Amit Itzhaki is currently an Associate Member of Technical Staff at The Aerospace Corporation, contributing to projects within the Information Systems & Cyber Division since June 2023. Recent work includes researching fine-tuning large language models for code duplicate identification, modeling components of autonomous space vehicles, and developing a Python program for improving satellite communication through image processing. Previously, Amit served as Director of Academic Excellence for Delta Delta Delta Sorority and held the position of University Teaching Fellow at the University of Maryland, where responsibilities included leading lab sessions and offering academic support in engineering. With experience as a Leads Coordinator at Shleppers Moving & Storage, Amit demonstrated skills in customer service, training, and problem-solving. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the University of Maryland, expected to graduate in May 2024.
