Ed Springer

Ed Springer serves as the Systems Director for Cape Engineering and Acquisition at The Aerospace Corporation, a position held since December 2021. Previously, Ed managed the Safety Analysis Division at the Federal Aviation Administration from November 2010 to December 2021, overseeing flight safety systems and commercial space operations. With experience as a Technical Lead at SAIC and a Safety Engineer in the United States Air Force, Ed has developed expertise in launch operations, safety analysis, and engineering assessments for aerospace initiatives. Ed holds a Master's degree in Aeronautical Science and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
