Edith Szarkowski

Edith Szarkowski is a Senior Engineering Specialist at The Aerospace Corporation, with a strong background in spacecraft hardware design and systems engineering. Currently serving as a Co-Instructor for Spacecraft Hardware Design Considerations at Johns Hopkins Engineering for Professionals, Edith provides academic support and manages grading duties. Prior experience includes over 14 years at Lockheed Martin, where roles ranged from Systems Engineer to Senior Engineer, leading numerous projects in system architecture, requirements verification, and process improvement. Edith holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Science in Space Systems Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University, and has completed certifications in Systems Engineering.
