Jim Fishenden

Jim Fishenden serves as the General Manager of the Advanced Technology Division at The Aerospace Corporation, where responsibilities include overseeing space systems engineering and advanced research and development for National Security Space customers. With a career at The Aerospace Corporation beginning in 2001, Jim has held multiple roles, including Principal Director and Principal Engineer, focusing on support for the national security space and intelligence community. Prior to this, Jim worked as Deputy Ship Design Manager at the Naval Surface Warfare Center and as a Naval Architect at Advanced Marine Enterprises. Jim holds a Master’s degree in Systems and Information Engineering from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor’s degree in Ocean Engineering from Virginia Tech.
