Tom Normand

Tom Normand is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and innovation across various sectors. Currently serving as the Director of the Research and Technology Collaboration Office at The Aerospace Corporation since 2022, Tom focuses on identifying and cultivating new business opportunities while enhancing collaboration within the innovation ecosystem. Previously, Tom held key roles including Director of Industry Collaboration & Innovation at TANMS UCLA, where responsibilities included managing industry partnerships and commercialization strategies, and business development consultant at Hilgard Strategic Services. Tom also led business development efforts in the Asia Pacific region for Electrosonic and directed international sales and marketing for Packeteer. Earlier career achievements include founding business development initiatives at PrintNation.com and managing sales at Agfa Offset & Inkjet Solutions and Eastman Kodak Company. Tom holds an MBA in Global Business & Strategy from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire.
