David Lello

David Lello is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in leadership and cybersecurity. As the founder and CEO of Burning Tree Limited since 2006, David has successfully expanded the company to the UK and emphasizes client delivery and strategic growth. David also contributes to The AI Journal, focusing on cybersecurity and research. Previously, David served as Chairman of the Board for Global Security Solutions (Pty) Ltd and founded the company as a specialist IAM advisory firm. At Absa Bank, David led enterprise-wide information security strategies and contributed to digital banking transformations. Earlier career experience includes managing key accounts at Internet Solutions. David holds an Associate’s Degree from GIBS Business School and completed high school at Potchefstroom High School for Boys.
