Mike Guderian

Vice President Of Operations And Facilities / Director Of Capital Projects at The Alaska Club, Inc.

Mike Guderian has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Mike began their career as a Department Manager at Walmart, where they were part of the set-up team for a new location. Mike then worked as an Assistant Manager at World Gym Fitness before joining the United States Air Force as a Pavements and Construction Heavy Equipment Operator. In the Air Force, Mike was responsible for completing various construction and repair projects, training employees, managing sports programs, and overseeing a federal income tax assistance program.

Following their time in the Air Force, Mike joined The Alaska Club as the Vice President of Operations and Facilities. In this role, they had statewide responsibility for 15 facilities and over 1,000 employees. Their responsibilities included overseeing daily operations, managing revenue-generating programs, facility maintenance, budget creation and adherence, project management, new business development, safety and risk management, and member satisfaction.

Recently, Mike became the President of Fly Trampoline Park, which has locations in Fairbanks and Wasilla.

Mike Guderian has a diverse education history. Mike started their educational journey at Cambridge High School, where they studied from 1987 to 1991. After completing high school, they attended Anoka-Ramsey Community College for a year from 1991 to 1992, majoring in General Studies. From there, they enrolled at Bethel University from 1992 to 1994, focusing on Physical Education Teaching and Coaching. In 1994, they transferred to the University of Alaska Anchorage, where they continued their studies in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching until 1996. Later, from 1996 to 2000, Guderian attended the Community College of the Air Force, specializing in Construction Technology.

In addition to their formal education, Guderian has obtained several certifications related to their field. These certifications include: Certified Pool & Spa Operator (CPO) from The Alaska Club, Confined Space Entry Competent Person from SafeT Services, Construction Health Safety Technician (CHST) from BCSP.org, Fall Protection Competent Person Inspector and Trainer from DBI Sala/Capital Safety, First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor from American Red Cross, Gas Detection Competent Person from SafeT Services, Incident Command System ICS-100/200 from FEMA, NFPA 70E Arc Flash/Blast Training from SafeT Services, OSHA 30 Hour Construction from 360training.com, OSHA 500/510 Authorized Outreach Instructor for 10 and 30 hour from the University of Washington, and Scaffold Competent Person Inspector and Trainer from the Scaffold Training Institute.
