Kahmia Moise serves as the Director of Equity and Inclusion at The Ali Forney Center since April 2015, where a strong focus on client assessments, development of life skills workshops, and job readiness support has been established. Experience includes roles ranging from Life Skills Instructor to Residential Youth Counselor, where responsibilities encompassed client recruitment, crisis counseling, and program facilitation. Prior to this, Kahmia held positions with the National Park Service and The DC Center, contributing to community engagement and HIV prevention efforts. Kahmia's educational background includes a Master of Social Work from Columbia University and a Bachelor's Degree in English from Lafayette College, further complemented by a journalism study abroad program.
