Steve Cruz

Steve Cruz is an experienced professional currently serving as the Strategic Giving Manager at The Ali Forney Center since December 2021. Prior to this role, Steve held the position of Director of Volunteer Engagement at Yonkers Partners in Education from October 2015 to November 2021, where notable achievements included expanding the volunteer program to over 240 volunteers and formalizing recruitment and training systems. Additional experience includes roles as Lead Teacher at Success Academy Charter Schools and various positions at Stony Brook University, where Steve managed student activities and facilities. Steve holds an MBA in Marketing and Management and a BA in Cinema and Cultural Studies, both from Stony Brook University.
