Zachary Cohen is an experienced non-profit leader with a robust background in fundraising and strategic communications. Currently serving as the Deputy Executive Director of Development at The Ali Forney Center since June 2021, Zachary integrates fundraising initiatives with organizational goals and oversees key components of the development department. Previous roles include Deputy Director of Development, Director of Major Gifts, and Major Gifts Manager at The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center. Enhanced proficiency in fundraising strategies was further developed during tenures as Major Donations Coordinator at Amnesty International and Director of Development at the Jerusalem Open House for Pride and Tolerance. Zachary holds a Master's degree in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
