The Alliance Canada
The Alliance Canada began in 1887 in New York City by Canadian Pastor Albert Benjamin Simpson. Since that time the focus of the movement has been on Jesus Christ as Saviour, Sanctifier, Healer and Coming King (the "Fourfold Gospel") and on the importance of sharing the good news of Jesus Christ in the whole world. For over 90 years the C&MA in Canada and the United States operated as one body. In 1972 the C&MA in Canada became separately incorporated and in 1981 established its own national office and elected its own President. Today the C&MA in Canada has 435 churches across Canada representing over 15 language groups. It is part of the Alliance World Fellowship with over 4 million people in 81 countries.
