John Flory

John Flory currently serves as the Executive Managing Director at The Alliance Risk Group, LLC, where expertise in helping energy industry leaders manage risk has been pivotal since February 2012. With a rich history of leadership roles, including Senior Consultant and Senior VP at eSmart Systems, Flory played a key role in establishing the company's presence in the US market. Previous positions include Senior Managing Director at NASDAQ OMX Commodities Clearing Company, where business services and credit risk structures were developed for power markets, and Co-founder and President at both the North American Energy Credit and Clearing Corp and eNMART Corporation. Flory's foundational experiences include Vice President of Strategic Planning at California Power Exchange and managing strategic initiatives at various organizations, all while holding advanced degrees in Ecology and Mathematics from University of California, Davis and Manchester University, respectively.
