Vanessa Gallagher

Vanessa Gallagher is an experienced Health and Safety professional currently serving as the National Risk, Health & Safety Manager at The Alzheimer Society of Ireland since February 2025. With a solid foundation in health and safety management, Vanessa has previously held key positions as Health and Safety Manager at Virgin Media Ireland from March 2018 to March 2024, and at Kilsaran International from June 2017 to March 2018. Additional roles include Health and Safety Specialist at Brightwater Care Group Ltd., as well as various health and safety positions in industries such as mining and construction. Vanessa began her career as a Safety Advisor at Walls Construction Limited in 2006, gradually advancing through roles that demonstrate a strong commitment to occupational safety and health, culminating in a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Occupational Safety and Health from the Institute of Technology, Sligo.
