Jessica Lieberman is a seasoned professional with a strong background in public policy, campaign management, and law. Currently serving as a Senior Program Officer at the American Academy of Arts & Sciences, Jessica oversees projects aimed at implementing democracy reform recommendations from the 2020 report "Our Common Purpose: Reinventing Democracy for the 21st Century." Previous experience includes roles as a Program Officer at New Politics, where Jessica recruited and trained Democratic military veterans and national service alumni, and positions as a Campaign Manager for various electoral campaigns in Massachusetts. With a robust legal background as a Senior Associate at Seyfarth Shaw LLP, overseeing labor and employment matters, and educational credentials from Harvard Kennedy School (MPA), Boston College Law School (J.D.), and Tufts University (B.A.), Jessica embodies a commitment to advancing equity and democratic values.

Since its founding in 1780, the American Academy has served the nation as a champion of scholarship, civil dialogue, and useful knowledge.
