Chris Bowling

Chris Bowling, MArch, NCARB, AIA, LEED AP, currently serves as the AIA KY Secretary at The American Institute of Architects (AIA) since December 2022 and has been an Associate at GBBN Architects since January 2016. Bowling has a long history of leadership roles, including Treasurer for AIA CKC from January 2015 to December 2022 and President of the American Institute of Architects Central Kentucky Chapter from December 2008 to January 2011. Additional contributions include board memberships with organizations such as the St. Matthews Little League, Pecha Kucha Louisville, and Urban Design Studio, as well as involvement in the planning of the AIA Ohio Valley Regional Convention. Bowling received the 2012 Emerging Professional Award for demonstrating exceptional leadership and commitment to the architecture community. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Kentucky and a Master of Architecture II from Syracuse University.
