Frank Mruk

Past President - AIA Rhode Island at The American Institute of Architects

Frank Mruk, FAIA, serves as the Past President of AIA Rhode Island and holds the position of Board Vice President for the North East Region of the Construction Specifications Institute. Currently, Frank is the Senior Director of Building Innovations at the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association and a member of the Design Advisory Board at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Serving on the Board of RIBA USA since January 2019, Frank has been involved in various capacities, including as Executive Director for the Center for Smart Building Technology at Roxbury Community College until November 2022. Previously, Frank directed the NYC office of EAA-Emre Arolat Architecture and has held faculty positions at the School of Visual Arts and the Rhode Island School of Design. With extensive experience in management consulting at the NY Center for Strategic Innovation, Frank has advised numerous high-profile clients. Academically, Frank holds a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Pratt Institute, an MBA in Finance from Pace University, and a postgraduate degree in Strategy and Innovation from the University of Oxford.
