Julia Sun is a dedicated volunteer and advocate with diverse experience in healthcare, education, and community initiatives. Currently serving at Dignity Hospice and co-founding the Wellesley chapter of the American Lung Cancer Screening Initiative, Julia aims to enhance lung cancer awareness among underserved populations while leading research on daylight's impact on cancer recovery. Previous roles include assisting physical and occupational therapists at White Plains Hospital, interning with the New York State Assembly, and conducting cancer research at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. Julia's commitment to community service is further evidenced by roles as a Trail Ambassador and Teaching Assistant, and musical performances for inpatients at Rosary Hill Home. An undergraduate student at Wellesley College, Julia continues to develop a robust background in health advocacy and education.
