Kevin has experience as a Sports Referee at Georgia Soccer Officials Association from January 2019 to May 2021 and as a New Business Install Manager at AmeriPride Services from May 2018 to October 2020. Kevin also held the position of Chapter President at Terminus Legion from December 2016 to December 2019. Kevin has worked as a Paramedic at Hart County EMS from January 2015 to May 2018 and at Madison County EMS from 2002 to 2018. Additionally, they have gained entrepreneurial experience as an Independent Business Owner at Dawg-Town Entertainment and DJ from February 2006 to January 2018.

Kevin Cheek has a diverse education history. In 2008, they attended the University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education and obtained a degree in Fundamentals of Supervision and Management with a focus on Business Administration, Management, and Operations. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2007, they studied at North Georgia Technical College and earned a degree as a Paramedic. Kevin had earlier attended Athens Technical College from 2001 to 2002 and obtained a degree as an EMT-I. In addition to their academic achievements, Kevin also holds a certification as a Paramedic from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians, which they obtained in December 2007.
