Ralph Rivera

Ralph became an ASL parent in 2019, joining the School with Yasmine ’26 and later Faris ’34. Ralph was appointed to the ASL Board of Trustees in summer 2022, and is a member of the DEI Committee.

Ralph joined the NBA in 2018, and serves as managing director for NBA Europe and Middle East. Headquartered in London and Madrid, Ralph oversees the development and expansion of the NBA’s business and basketball operations, and directs the league’s efforts across marketing partnerships, media distribution, content and direct-to-consumer, licensing, events and youth participation. Prior to joining the NBA, Ralph was managing director at Eurosport Digital with Discovery Communications. He also spent six years as a director at BBC Digital, served as president at Major League Gaming, and was senior vice president and general manager at AOL.

In addition, Ralph has served on the BBC’s executive board, the BBC Children in Need Board, and the Imperial College Data Science Institute Advisory Board.

Ralph holds an MBA in finance and international business from New York University’s Stern School of Business, and a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Columbia University.
