Barry Pettit

Barry Pettit is an experienced maintenance superintendent and electrician with a diverse background in electrical systems and engineering. Currently serving as the Maintenance Superintendent at Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds since June 2021, Barry has also been working as an electrician at AT&F since November 2012, where responsibilities include maintaining and repairing electrical systems in machines. Previous roles include electrician positions at NASA Glenn Research Center, Cleveland Clinic, and Helems Electric, focusing on upgrading PLC controls, maintaining hospital life safety systems, and installing new electrical systems. Barry's military background as a combat engineer in the United States Army Reserve from 1990 to 2004 emphasizes expertise in interior and electrical design fortifications. Educational qualifications include a degree in Combat Engineering from the US Army Engineering program and a diploma from Brandywine High School.
